III Capoeiroo Beribazu - Batizado, Grading & Workshops  2016

The III Capoeiroo Beribazu will be our third event since our group started here in 2011. It will feature the 'batizado' (initiation of new students) and the grading of students who already have cordas (belts). We will also have workshops with teachers, Contra-Mestres and Mestres from different capoeira schools, for which we welcome the whole community to join.

We will also take this opportunity to sell light lunch snacks to raise funds for Mestre Nei's capoeira project in the Philippines, which assists disadvantaged children.

Our philosophy is one of valuing and spreading capoeira's cultural and historical aspects and respecting our limitations & physical integrity.
